Language learning is a complex cognitive function that puts different parts of the brain at work. AI overdependence and cognitive decline which affected language learning Note: I have been teaching for 13 years and by far students in the past have better performance in classes because they really utilized their cognitive function to excel in a new language. AI is revolutionary indeed because it helps increase productivity. However, Overdependence leads to a decline in cognitive function. Language learning is a complex cognitive process which requires effort and critical thinking abilities. Despite the popularity of technology, I have noticed that many students are not improving their fluency , especially those who use AI on a daily basis. Many students are not improving their writing skills because they let AI do the work that they are supposed to do. What many students forget is that it is the complexity of the task and the difficulty of the task that helps build neural pathways in the brain. This is why language learning improves cognitive function , as long as it is done the right way.

It’s interesting that a survey tells there still are huge numbers of people believe in ghost nowadays. What is your opinion about ghost? I will show you mine first. When I was very young, one day I had asked my mother whether ghost existed or not, and she gave me the positive answer with her couple of experiences witnessing paranormal events. At the night, I was scared to not sleeping alone, so the belief in ghost had stuck in my mind since then. However, I have come to put away that belief with time passing and got to develop a reasonable perception of the world. We live in a scientific and modern society, and we tend to believe what we see, hear, smell and touch. China is a country filled with various stories of ghosts and spirits, especially in form of play, opera, tale, and even a particular holiday connects to the concept. On the other hand, as I noticed, paranormal stories usually happen in some rural areas where often seen as backwards, as well as a bunch of witnesses appear to be uptight in their personalities. Additionally, fascinating operas or movies in terms of ghost and spirits are mainly made to entertain the audience. Is my answer for that negative? not really. I like the idea of a scientist, he was like “It would feel totally nonsense if you state the existence of electricity three hundred years ago, so does that your voice and photos can manager to be sent anywhere on the planet immediately. Things remain unknown to what science has not revealed yet.” Certainly, we understand very little about the universe and ourselves as yet. What if ghost and spirits were in parallel world? In my opinion, the question on the top of this writing has no correct answer, I leave it open.

One of the best way to learn a language is to memorize some useful phrases, and making new sentences according that phrases.
