Listening is as important as speaking and paying attention to what the other person says is a sign of respect. Not everyone can be an extrovert or most everyone can be a good listener. Having a balance between the two is essential to create a pleasant atmosphere. As a teacher, a nurse and a content creator, I learned the most valuable lesson in communication is not just about words, it is about actions and non-verbal cues.” Pay attention to people because everyone wants to feel important.” Speak when necessary and listen intently when you must. Today was a bit of a struggle with technology. My computer's VPN is completely non-functional, which is incredibly frustrating, especially when trying to connect for meetings. My mobile phone's VPN is also hit-or-miss; it was working sporadically today, even failing just before a meeting, but then miraculously started working again a few minutes later. During my year-long involvement after graduation, I worked as a volunteer coordinator and communications assistant. societal competition in China is so high, making life stressful even for those without disabilities. For disabled individuals, the challenges are compounded. Accessibility remains a significant issue, with pavements frequently blocked, making it dangerous for visually impaired individuals. The charity eventually partnered with a local government fund, but I'm unsure of their current status. It seems the founders, who were American, left China years ago. It's possible the charity has changed its name or structure to navigate evolving regulations.
