Already in high school I made my own secret languages and I taught myself multiple languages. To become fluent in Swedish, I went on an exchange to Sweden twice, once to Gothenburg and once to Stockholm, during my bachelor in journalism. I was so in love with the language and cultures I started studying Scandinavian languages and cultures afterwards. Right now I work as a journalist, filmmaker and Dutch teacher. Because of my working experience as a journalist and my passion for languages, I'm the perfect person for teaching Dutch. There is no single spelling or grammar rule that I don't know of (and I'm often correcting other natives). And because I've been learning languages my whole life, both as a hobby and at university, I know very well how it feels to learn a new language and what challenges it poses.
