I ran an 'English Conversational Aperitivo' in Milan before moving to Brussels to become a Cicerone (beer expert). When the pandemic struck, I switched to teaching online and enjoyed the comforts and possibilities of working in a relaxed environment and having immediate access to information. I mostly stick to conversational topics for my methods, as I've found the best way to encourage students to retain information is by talking about what's important to them.
