Native German teacher | 4+ years experience | DLL-certified (Goethe-Institut) In 2020, I started working as a science teacher at an international school, teaching children aged 8–12. After completing a 120-hour TEFL course, I also began tutoring English privately for kids. Through these experiences, I discovered how much I enjoy teaching and supporting students in their learning journey. That’s why I decided to focus on the language I feel most at home with—German. I’ve now been teaching German on italki for over four years, working with learners from all around the world. In 2024, I also successfully completed the DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen) course at the Goethe-Institut, which further strengthened my skills as a language teacher.

I have taught German and English in several different circumstances. During my early internships in China I organized basic German and business level English trainings. In the German Chamber of Commerce, I was also involved in editing a yearly bi-language training brochure for special trainings in Shanghai. But I also taught English and German for a year in kindergarten, where I focused on fun in acquiring a new language. In Germany I mainly taught German privately, mainly focusing on the Testdaf-exam but also the German high school-diploma Abitur. Occasionally, I also prepared students for the TOEFL-Exam.
