TEFL Certified. Conversational English/Pronunciation. I have worked in manufacturing, shipping, and receiving for 30 years. My experience includes sales and financial services. My post-secondary education has been in anthropology and theology. Some of my interests include cycling, motorcycles, chess, and cryptocurrencies. I like people. My approach to teaching will be based on a strong student-teacher relationship. Everyone has a unique and interesting story and I want to hear yours! During lessons, I will correct a little or a lot depending on the student's needs. You are the customer! Tell me what you want. During my lessons, you will be corrected on pronunciation and grammar. We will discuss how much correction is best for you. Sometimes it is best to correct mistakes right away and sometimes to evaluate problems at the end.

I have taught English and Spanish for 11 years now. I love going deep into grammar and vocabulary. I also enjoy helping students with test preparation. I even do the exercises while I have coffee! I like to teach functional language based on the student's needs. I started my career teaching children, but now I only teach adults.
