From this experience, I have gained ideas how language learning through conversation and via the internet is fun and efficient. My professional background is in education, but not in languages but in technical domains. This is is a little different than teaching in 1:1 settings, but I am still using several ideas from my other life also on italki. I like to help you to learn German as your conversation partner and teacher and support you to reach your learning goals.

Hungarian: citizenship interview preparation/general teaching, German: grammar/communication/exams I am an open-minded and curious teacher who is eager to learn as much as possible about people and the world. This means that I will be genuinely interested in whatever interests you! :) For me, communication is key when learning a language, so I will encourage you to speak as much as possible - if that is what you want. If you'd rather focus on grammar, listening, or anything else, of course, we can do that. In our first meeting, we’ll discuss your goals, and we will work towards them. However, I am quite flexible regarding my teaching style, so if you think that another approach would benefit you more, I'm open to other methods as well!

Prozesse lassen sich viel leichter verstehen, wenn man sie selbst präsentiert. Eine Fremdsprache zu sprechen kann anfangs unangenehm, vielleicht sogar peinlich sein. Es braucht Zeit, um die richtigen Worte in der richtigen Reihenfolge zu finden. Doch durch viel Übung in einer entspannten Atmosphäre fällt es später viel leichter, mit fremden Personen zu sprechen. Ich mag es, meinen Schülern einen Rahmen zu bieten, in dem sie sich ausprobieren können, ohne in peinliche Situationen zu geraten.

In the beginning I taught people from East Asia, but today my students are coming from all over the world. I'm particularly interested in languages like Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Right now I'm trying to master Japanese. Understanding how these languages are structured gives me the opportunity to teach you German in a more understandable way. In addition, I can help you, to pass the TestDaF, which is the general German language test for foreigners, who want to start studying at a German University. I've also experience in preparing students for the DSH language test and the Goethe-Zertifikat.
