Originally from Lancashire, I now teach in Tuscany, helping students master Medical/Scientific English, ace exams (IELTS/Cambridge), or thrive in business settings. My background? A Medical Physiology degree, and a Philosophy of Mind postgraduate cert. Fascinated by how the brain learns, I make lessons engaging and brain-friendly. I have nearly 10 years of teaching experience, and I have been a language learner for most of my life, so I understand the issues that you may be experiencing. I decided to become an English teacher because as a result of learning Spanish, I have been able to live and work abroad, and through teaching, I can give people the same opportunities that I have had. I have taught in public schools and specialised language schools in Spain over the last 10 years, and I currently work as a freelance teacher delivering online lessons to students both locally and internationally.
