Today, I spent some time working on my assignments. I wanted to finish them before going to my part-time job, so I tried to concentrate and complete everything on time. Some parts took longer than I expected, but I was happy when I finally finished. After completing my assignments, I got ready and went to work. I worked for several hours and did my best to finish my tasks. I was a little tired because I had been studying before work, but I felt relieved that I had finished my assignments first. When I got home, I wanted to relax and take a break. It was a busy day, but I was satisfied because I could finish my schoolwork and go to work as planned.

Movie theater popcorn is the best and tastes much better than the popcorn we make at home because of a few secrets. First, the incredible smell of warm, buttery aroma fills the air the moment you walk into the lobby, which instantly makes you feel excited for the movie. Second, the taste is unique because theaters use special popping machines and a yellow coconut oil along with a secret fine salt called Flavacol, which gives the popcorn its beautiful color and rich, savory flavor. Finally, eating this warm, crunchy snack from a giant bucket in the dark while watching a great film makes it a truly special experience that you just cannot stop enjoying with your friends.

This week, I worked at my part-time job almost every day. I was really tired because I worked a lot. I do not have much money, so I wanted to work as much as possible. The shop is now decorated for Halloween, so I wear a Halloween headband when I work. It is a little embarrassing, but it is also fun. Many customers come to the shop, so I am always busy. I was very tired after work every day. This week, I have my cousin’s wedding, so I do not have to work. I am very happy about that. I want to relax and get some good sleep. This morning, I cut my bangs. I didn’t have bangs before, so I didn’t need to cut them. It was my first time cutting my bangs by myself in a long time, and it was fun, but I think I cut them a little too much. My dad bought me a cordless ReFa hair iron recently, so I was able to curl my bangs nicely. When I didn’t have bangs, my hair usually looked good naturally after sleeping, so I didn’t need to do much in the morning. It was easy. Now that I have short bangs, getting ready takes a little longer, so it is a little difficult. But I like my new look, and I have been having many good-looking days. My friends have also told me that I look cute, so I’m really happy. Today, my foundation got messed up because I cut my bangs, and that was a little disappointing. But I’m glad I finally cut my bangs and changed my look. Today, I wore my favorite pink hoodie that I borrowed from my friend. It made me feel happy, so I think I can do my best at school and work today.
