The primary reason lies in economic growth. Owing to the Chinese economic development ,people's living standard has increased dramatically at a fast rate. As a result, more and more people tend to buy their friends and relatives presents to express their love and gratitude during the Spring festival. Moreover, In modern society with fierce competition, city-dwellers are under enormous pressure from professional and academic lives. Therefore ,they prefer to choose go back hometown to get together with their family members. to sum up, this tendency is overall positive and inspiring. The Spring festival is the most important and meaningful festival among the Chinese festivals. To relax ourselves and enhance the relationship between our friends and family members by spending money to send gifts ,eat together and go back hometown is reasonable .
