Today, I had a first-period class, so I am very sleepy. In my English class, my Italian friends came to help me. They did not have any classes, but they came just for me. They are very kind and nice people. We had lunch together after class. One of them said he was sleepy because he drank alcohol last night.

Takoyaki is amazing because of its perfect contrast. It is crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft and creamy inside. Every bite features a chewy piece of savory octopus. Rich brown sauce, creamy mayonnaise, and dancing bonito flakes add a smoky, deep flavor. It is the ultimate comforting street food.

English tutor Alice here. Which country are you from? Tell me about your country. What is it like there? What seasons do you get? Does it snow? I'm from the US. I was born in the US. I've never visited outside of North America. I'm originally from the state of Ohio. Pretty boring state. Not boring if you love sports though. In Northern Ohio it would snow a lot during the Winter months. I moved to Kentucky a few years ago. Kentucky has the Derby. It also has the longest known cave system in the world. Kentucky Fried Chicken was started here.

American English language learners that are wanting to improve their spoken American English.... Have you ever had a native English speaker born and raised in the US judge your spoken American English? Have you ever had them type to you the mistake that you said either a word or phrase not pronounced right or wrong sentence structure then type to you the correct pronunciation/word/sentence structure? Someone to listen to every sound you make as you speak to analyze the word choices you make and the order in which you speak your words to let you know if it's common to be said or natural to be said? Someone that will also focus on the amount of hesitation you have when speaking. How often you repeat words and phrases. To give you immediate or afterwards corrections. That way you know exactly what you're struggling with and what to improve on so you can become 'unstuck' in this difficulty that you're having with the American English language.

I slept for only four hours because I talked with my friend until late at night yesterday. I forgot that I had school today, so I am very sleepy now. I also have a mini-exam today, so I am studying for it on the train. I am tired because I did not sleep enough, but I hope I can do my best on the exam.
