¿Que es el Ajiaco y como se prepara?

To kick-start this series, I cover one of my all-time favourite songs. I first heard this piece in the TV show Mr. Robot and it opened up a whole world of blues and folk music for me. 

It's full of cultural references, regionalisms, metaphors and interestingly, even a few grammatical errors--I'll tell you why they were included! 

Angel From Montgomery has been covered by many artists, but in this episode we listen to & explore the original 1971 version by John Prine.

is used in front of verbs to indicate two actions taking place concurrently.
For example:
zán men yì biān sàn bù ， yì biān liáo tiānr 。 
咱们一边散步，一边聊天儿。
We walk and chat.

dà wèi yì biān kàn shū ， yì biān tīnɡ yīn yuè 。 
大卫一边看书，一边听音乐。
David is reading a book and listening to music.

wǒ men zuó tiān wǎn shɑnɡ yì biān chī fàn ， yì biān liàn xí shuō zhōnɡ wén 。 
我们昨天晚上一边吃饭，一边练习说中文。
We practiced speaking Chinese while having dinner last night.

Many thought Collins had ended the series after the 2010 publication of Mockingjay — she even wrote in 2015 that it was "time to move on to other lands."

But four years later, she surprised readers and the publishing world when she announced she was working on what became The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, released in 2020 and set 64 years before the first book.

Collins used parts of Greek mythology and the Roman gladiator games for her earlier Hunger Games books.

But for the new book, she said she was inspired by the Scottish philosopher David Hume, and what he described as "the easiness with which the many are governed by the few."

She added that the book will also look at the use of propaganda and "the power of those who control the narrative."

The film version of Songbirds and Snakes, starring Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler, came out last year. This fall, a Hunger Games play is set to open in London.
