What's something that you think represents your country very well? It could be anything, like a certain food, or a custom. I think for the US it would be fast food, because people from the US do seem to really like the convenience of fast food.

In Canada, people often use "sorry" to mean "hello," or "excuse me," especially when ordering something (e.g. in a drive-thru) or getting the attention of an employee in a store (e.g. "Sorry, could you tell me where the language learning section is?"). It always makes me chuckle. Of course, the pronunciation is distinctly Canadian/northern too: SOAR-ee, not SAHR-ee.
