C’è un’Italia che molti non conoscono. Si chiama Calabria. Qui il tempo è lento. Le montagne guardano il mare. Il sole è forte, ma l’aria è pulita. La Calabria ha una storia molto antica. Una storia che cammina, popolo dopo popolo: Enotri e Italici, i primi passi sulla terra, poi i Greci, con il mare negli occhi, i Bruzi, forti, liberi, radicati, i Romani, con strade e leggi, i Bizantini, tra Oriente e silenzio, i Normanni, venuti da lontano, gli Svevi, con castelli e vento, gli Angioini, e poi gli Aragonesi, gli Spagnoli, lunghi anni di dominio, i Borbone, fino a tempi più vicini. El idioma de las costumbres argentinas (III) En esta clase analizamos la reunión social por excelencia: el asado y otros encuentros cotidianos. En estas situaciones, el lenguaje funciona casi como un protocolo que valida el éxito del encuentro y refuerza los vínculos comunitarios. Con el asado: “¿Sale asadito el finde?” El asado es mucho más que una comida: es un ritual social típico en Argentina, donde se cocinan distintos cortes de carne, achuras y embutidos a la parrilla, mientras los invitados conversan y comparten algo para picar. “¿Prendemos el fuego el sábado?” Una forma indirecta y muy común de proponer un asado. El acto de “prender el fuego” marca el inicio de la reunión. “Un aplauso para el asador.” La frase obligatoria para reconocer el trabajo de quien estuvo frente a las brasas. No decirla es, casi, una falta de respeto. También aparecen expresiones relacionadas con encuentros más cotidianos: “¿Tomamos algo en la vereda?” Sentarse afuera de un bar o de la casa para conversar. “¿Compramos unos bizcochitos para el mate?” Pequeñas piezas de panadería saladas que suelen acompañar el mate. “¿Pedimos unas empanadas?” Comida típica rellena, horneada o frita. Todas estas formas muestran algo interesante: el idioma no solo sirve para transmitir información, sino también para reflejar hábitos, vínculos y maneras de relacionarse. En el español rioplatense, la diferencia entre sonar natural o demasiado directo muchas veces está en estos pequeños detalles. Frases como “un aplauso para el asador” funcionan como actos de habla rituales que validan la pertenencia al grupo. Some people play music or videos out loud on planes, and it’s really annoying.” But he still looked a little annoyed. He said, “Yeah, but wearing headphones on a long flight can be uncomfortable too. I guess I really need to keep a pair with me from now on.” Useful phrases: 1. Oh no, I forgot my headphones. 糟糕，我忘带耳机了。 2. It’s okay. Not having headphones won’t stop you from getting on the plane. 没事啦，没耳机也不耽误坐飞机。 3. If you listen to music or watch videos on the plane without headphones, you might not even be allowed to board. 如果你在飞机上不戴耳机听音乐或看视频，可能都不让登机。 4.
