Grishma (Summer) - April to mid-June: The weather gets hot, especially in the northern and central parts of the country, with temperatures reaching 40°C or higher. Varsha (Monsoon) - Mid-June to September: rainfall brought by the southwest monsoon. It cools down the temperature but can cause flooding and humidity. Sharad (Autumn) - October to Mid-November: The monsoon season ends, and the weather becomes cooler and pleasant. Skies are clear and humidity reduces. Hemanta (Pre-winter) - Mid-November to December: This season sees cooler temperatures, particularly in northern and central India, but it's not yet cold as winter. Shishir (Winter) - January to Mid-February: The coldest time of the year, especially in northern India, with temperatures dropping significantly. In southern India, the weather remains milder.
