Hi there! I’m a native Amharic teacher who loves meeting new people from all over the world. When I’m not teaching, I work in sales, marketing, and project management, utilizing my degrees in Computer Science and PM.

Rahel is very knowledgeable about Ethiopian Tawehedo Christianity and Amhar culture, which helps a great deal in understanding a land which is quite different, yet similar in many often unforeseen ways. The World is an interconnected place and understanding the similarities is necessary to avoid evils such as racism and Fascism.

Hello! I have been in over a dozen of Rahel's lessons, and each time, I leave with more enthusiasm for the language. She teaches in a way that engages and holds me accountable to the homework that I should know.
