My name is Betti, and I’m a native Hungarian speaker. I graduated in International Relations, though I’ve always been passionate about teaching. I’ve been teaching children of all ages for about five years, and now I’m excited to work with adults as well. I’ve also just started volunteering with an organization that helps refugees prepare for their citizenship exams. What I enjoy most is meeting people from all backgrounds and learning about their unique reasons for studying Hungarian.

Teaching has always been an important part of my life. Even before and during university, I tutored children by supporting homeschooled families full-time, helping foreign students overcome language barriers, and volunteering with disadvantaged children. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with an organization that helps refugees prepare for their citizenship exams.

My hands-on experience has helped me develop a practical and flexible teaching methodology. I focus on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I adapt lessons to each student’s level, interests, and goals.
