My name is Olga or Helga and I am here to teach Bulgarian, Dutch, Swedish and Norwegian. I am open-minded, creative and communicative. These skills help me teaching in an amusing and interesting manner.

I find learning languages quite fun and if you share any of my passions, then we can make the learning process equally fun for both of us. Just like how eyes are the window to the soul; language is the window to the soul of a nation. Through the language you can understand a country's people and through understanding them you get a grasp of their language too. :) I'm very patient and will listen to your needs & adjust myself to your speed and level while learning.

Graduated as foreign languages teacher and Spanish philologist / Master's degree in translation I follow a structured teaching methodology while allowing flexibility to adapt to each student’s needs and level. As a teacher, I am kind, cheerful, and have the gift of patience and positivity. My priority is to create a motivating and enjoyable learning environment, while also challenging my students. I set high standards because I believe in their potential and keep them fully engaged in class.

It is important to note that the lessons are tailored to meet your specific needs, so do utilize our time together wisely. Norwegian grammar rules will be incorporated into the lessons as needed, and corrective feedback will be provided if desired. I am constantly exploring and looking for the best teaching methods. I think that the most valuable part of my lessons is the individual approach. Each lesson is designed by taking into consideration the character, the needs, the level, and the knowledge of my students. I believe that absolutely anybody can learn a new language. In teaching both French and Bulgarian, my main goal is to show you that learning can be an enjoyable and interesting process that is not necessarily difficult. According to your needs, I direct my work process so that you have development in the shortest possible time. I will introduce you not only to spelling and grammar, but especially to culture,evolution, origin, application in everyday life, literature and everything you will need to immerse yourself in the language. What you could expect from my teaching and my lessons really depends on the level of Bulgarian that you currently have. I would prefer it if you have some background in the language as my lessons are more tailored towards speaking about different topics and interactive ways of practicing the language.

I am focusing on developing speaking and enriching students vocabulary. I'll help you reach fluidity in speaking and will help you improve your weaknesses with the language. I'm calm and supportive, willing to enrich learners horizons with language and culture information.

Professional teacher of Balkan and Nordic languages with 7 years experience I really love sharing my passion for languages and I enjoy the most seeing how my students progress in their language studies. I speak slowly - as much as it can be a drawback in life, it is an asset in teaching, because this helps the student processing the language easier, at their own pace. Growing up I always had to translate a lot because I spoke 3 languages. I also have been teaching some of the languages to friends, and took foreign language classes as well in order to learn how to teach. Also being part of a french-japanese association, I met a lot of language learners, and being born trilingual I can see notice some things that monolingual natives may not notice. I am now a student in a language university in Japan and also studied one year in a French university in order to learn more about languages.

Masters degree of English and Bulgarian language, over 10 years of teaching experience I have a master degree of English language and Bulgarian language and many years of teaching experience, both online and in school, mainly teaching English to Bulgarian and Asian students of different ages. I do also have experience teaching Bulgarian to foreigners. My practice as a Bulgarian teacher has started in 2016 and since then I've helped a lot of people to learn and practice the language.

Más de 17 años de experiencia I never thought that teaching could be the right job for me, but - here I am - seventeen years and around a thousand of students later. At some point, I realised that teaching had become a passion. My professional experience before italki was focused mainly on exam preparation both in English (e.g. Cambridge, Trinity) and German (Goethe Institut, telc) and included - apart from the usual group and individual, intensive and regular courses - level-testing and organising mock exams. For several years, I also worked as an English examiner and corrector at one of the universities in Spain. I hold a C2 Certificate in Spanish (DELE).
