My method is combining psychological science and personal experience in order to build an increasingly complex (nuanced) model for learning languages. Aside from conversing with my students and "intellectualizing" the language (discussing grammar etc.) I like to help the student to start to build his or her own model for learning languages. I want my students to become more and more independent in their learning. I am also a student of psychology at the University of Linköping in Sweden.

I started teaching Swedish at Berlitz Europe in 2019, I just loved it straight away, who knew teaching could be that fun! I have delivered 4000+ lessons since 2019 and my teaching skills and confidence has improved very well. I teach true beginners to intermediate/advanced. I have various types of work materials that I use. I live in Gävle and I also volunteer at a language café for immigrants at The Salvation Army in Gävle.

Hi! During the spring 2025 I will have no time for new students. I have been teaching Swedish on Italki since 2017, so I am experienced with both new beginners and those who are fluent and all levels in between. No matter how much you know, there are always some things you can learn. I don't have any dialect. I speak rikssvenska. I speak very clearly. It is easy to understand me.

I like to be as responsive to the students requests as possible so depending on why they are learning the language I like to adjust the lessons. My personal belief (and also how I learn myself) is that the best way to learn is to be engaging with the language while having fun. I also encourage my students to dig deeper into the culture as this will really help them grow in the language I like recommending movies songs etc. As a person and as a teacher I am the one that tries to get through every day/task with a smile.

Hi! I have been teaching Swedish for a couple of years and I have a good idea which words are important if you want to be able to communicate with people in real life. I have had students that hardly knew the alphabet when I started to teach them and I have had students that already spoke quite good Swedish when I met them.
