Engage in International forum, or even local forum who mostly use english as their preference. Actually, I stumbled on this website called Skyscrapercity it's about the Development in every country. Since I love progress or economics, I met a lot of people from different countries who also speak english. I don't know if you also like economics, but one thing that I can advise you is to engage in international forum. Stop wasting time by talking about something that doesn't make sense. Talk about something that you can relate and learn their vocabulary.

And also, watch movies with subtitle, so that you can understand what does the word means through their actions.
