How to learn vocabs effectively! When you learn a word, try to think of an example sentence. It is not productive to memorize new vocabulary without context. Especially verbs, there are reflective verbs, some need a preposition, verbs require as well a certain case. Example sich interessieren für Ich interessiere mich für Geschichte. (reflexive verb, für requires the accusative)
