Dear Italki tutors, Would be grateful if you could check my response to IELTS Writing Task 1 question (I struggled a bit with finding synonyms for the words "account for; represent", so I would also be thankful for your advice here) Here is the task (the pic is attached): The two pie charts below show the marital status of the populations of Canada and Australia. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words and my response: The pie charts illustrate demographic information about marital status in Canada and Australia. Overall, while in Canada there are more separated individuals, Australia can boast higher share of married individuals. Single, widowed, and divorced account for smaller proportions in both states. In Canada, separated but not divorced persons make up the lion’s share of the population (53%). Married individuals account for around a third, while the rest of the categories, such as never married, widowed, divorced and in a same sex marriage represent the rest of the population proportions, with the first two being just under 10% and the latter being under 5%. In Australia, married persons constitute the largest share of the population (46%). Meanwhile, separated individuals who did not end up their marriage account for just over 40%. Widowed, single and divorced populations represent the rest 13% of the population, each of them making up 6%, 5% and 2% respectively. Many thanks in advance and have a nice day!

Sunshine and sweet surprises today! After singing class, Mom and I teamed up to tackle a giant delivery box – easily over 15 kilos! Turns out, one of our friends has a litchi plantation, and this year, they had a bumper crop! They sent us a mountain of litchis, way more than We could even dream of eating on ourselves. Tonight's mission: We're separating them into smaller portions to share the succulent joys with all our friends. Here's to a fantastic litchi season and spreading the juicy love!

Over the years I've done many long running projects. I don't think I ever was at the point of giving up, but there were times when I felt completely exhausted. The simple and straitforward solution is always this: just rest and don't try to push yourself harder. Every person has their limits, and it's better to respect them when you're doing something complex and time consuming. Proper work/rest balance is the key to achieving goals and meeting deadlines. Pushing limits is only valid at critical moments which (must!) happen rarely.

In some people's mind, if a car without the thundery sound from engine can only be called a toy. I understand that they really don't like electric cars. Maybe they are right if we think driving as a sport, because I never saw a electric car competes in a race. A gas powed car with an excellent gearbox usually makes somebody feel excited. As for common people, we usually consider the cost we spend on a car. In that case, an electric car is economic. A new thing usually comes along with other problems. The advantages of electric cars made the price of used-cars（gas powed cars）dropped down in order to keep a certain market share. Common people have more choices to reduce their cost on a vehicle. After all, an used-car is much cheaper than a new electric car. In addition, if you don't live near a chage station, charging your car is another very annoying problem. I have seen someone put a foldable scooter scooter in their trunks. After charging their car in a place where is a bit far from their home, they ride the scooter back home, but you should make sure that there is enough room to hold a scooter in your trunk. In fact, after we sloved the problem about charging, we have never thought about how to get rid of the used batteries in the future!
