Today, I went out for dinner with my mom, my older brother, and his girlfriend. Everyone except me seemed nervous, which I found pretty funny. It was a nice time together. I’m feeling a little sad because my mom is going back home tomorrow. Even though it was a short visit, I’m really happy we got to spend time together.

The!!!! Pronunciation in English can be difficult. Especially for certain words. One of the difficult words to pronounce is "The". Top tip! It may sound silly but put your tongue behind your top teeth and try to say something. That is the "Th" sound. Now take the tongue away and keep that sound going: You just said "The" Simple!!! Now say "Make this the day." 🙂

Why is it “while” in “I need to get it done while I still can” but “when” in “You have to be smart when setting your goal”? It seems like “can” and “be smart” don’t describe actions

Recently, I started working part-time at an ice cream shop near my house. It’s my first time working in a place like this. So everything is new to me and very exciting. Yesterday, I practiced scooping ice cream into a round shape. It looked easy when other staff members did it, but when I tried, it was much harder than I expected. The scoops didn’t look perfect, and sometimes I took too little or too much ice cream. I tried again and again until I could make a better shape. When I finally made a nice round scoop, I felt really happy and proud of myself. I realized that even small things need to practice. I also have to learn how to greet customers politely and serve them quickly. There are so many things I have to remember, and I sometimes feel nervous, but my coworkers are really kind and help me a lot. I want to get better right now, so I will do my best. 🍨

I want to teach to every one

Do you know about Kabuki? It is a traditional form of Japanese theater. Yesterday, I watched a Japanese movie called “Kokuhō” (National Treasure), which is about Kabuki. It’s currently a hot topic in Japan, and the film was incredibly powerful and impressive. Although I don’t know much about Kabuki, I could still feel its greatness and the dedication it requires. I was truly overwhelmed by the experience. It’s a masterpiece that represents the aesthetics of Japan, and I hope not only Japanese people but also people from around the world will watch it.

Yesterday, I had a sleepover with my friends, and we decided to go to DisneySea the next day. It was my first time going there in a long time, so I was very excited. We entered the park from 3 p.m., but we were able to ride many roller coasters, which made me very happy. Also, I didn’t bring any bags with me, so it felt really new and refreshing. I had a great time.

It was terrible weather. I had classes today. When I went home, it was very heavy rain. I and my friend couldn’t go outside. It was 7 p.m. so I was very hungry. I ate dinner at 9 p.m. I ate fish. Actually, I don’t like fish, but it was delicious. I thought people should eat right away if we’re hungry.

I'm so tired today, too. The train stopped because it rained so much. I'm going home late. This season is summer, but I'm confused because it's raining a lot. There are a lot of things to look forward to during summer vacation, so I hope it doesn't rain much. I'm going to carry my umbrella with me for a while.
