Make
Meaning: To create, build, or produce something.
Use: When you create or produce something new or physical.
Examples:

We need to make a decision.
Do
Meaning: To perform an action, task, or activity.
Use: For general activities, work, or tasks that do not produce a physical object.
Examples:
I do my homework after school.
He does the cleaning every weekend.
They do exercises at the gym.
Common expressions:
Make money, a phone call, a mistake, a plan
Do the dishes, the laundry, a favour, your best
Quick Tip:
If you create or produce something, use make.
If you perform an action or task, use do.
