"To be *snowed under*" means to have too much work to do and feeling overwhelmed or unable to manage all of it.
*Synonyms:*

- *Drowning in work*
*Example:*
- "I can't go out this weekend because I'm snowed under with work."
- "She’s completely swamped with emails and projects at the moment."
