Ever had one of those travel days where everything goes wrong at once? 😅✈️
🎙️ In this episode of English with Navid, I tell the story of a flight I almost missed. From traffic and overweight luggage to airport security, delays, turbulence, and a suitcase that nearly disappeared.
Along the way, you’ll learn ENGLISH EXPRESSIONS like cutting it fine, out of the woods, go overboard, and fear the worst, all naturally through the story.
🎧 Listen, enjoy the story, and see how many expressions you can catch!
And tell me: What’s the most stressful thing that has ever happened to you while traveling?

This is the only post I will ever make here. And I make it in English so everyone understands.
This is not about language or culture, it’s about sexism. Because here is the proof that it’s everywhere. You might think it’s a nice compliment if someone calls me „the definition of flawless charm and unquestionable beauty“ - but he is judging my appearance from a video and even using the compliment for his purposes. He doesn’t contact me for being a teacher, but because of „beauty“. I’m not here to be watched, I’m here to teach. Could you ever imagine a woman would write this to a man as first contact? No? Well that’s the definition of patriarchy.
Not every man, but always a man. I reported and blocked him.
Thank you to all my wonderful students who are not like that.

IELTS Speaking Part 1: Hometown.
What makes a Band 6.5 answer different from a Band 8 answer?
In this short episode, I compare answers to common Hometown questions and show how better vocabulary, development and natural expression can raise the level of your response.
Try this question before listening:
“What do you like most about your hometown?”
Write your answer in the comments — what band are you aiming for?

Learn English with Purpose
Learning English is not about memorizing hundreds of words.
It is about knowing how, when, and why to use them.
In my lessons, we focus on practical communication, accurate language use, confidence, and continuous improvement.
Whether your goal is conversation, academic English, grammar, or pronunciation, every lesson should take you one step closer to your goal.
Your English journey can start with one lesson.

🥊🇹🇭 Easy Muay Thai Tip!
When you watch a Muay Thai fight, you might hear people say:
🔥 สู้ๆ! (sûu sûu!) = “Keep going!” / “You can do it!”
It’s not only used for Muay Thai. Thai people use สู้ๆ to encourage someone in many situations, at work, at the gym, before an exam, or when someone is having a difficult day.
Next time you see a Muay Thai fight in Thailand, try saying: 👉 สู้ๆ! 🇹🇭🥊
