" work as meaning "reading information about sth.", is it a fixed expression? 😨 "To quell nerves, chances are you spent time preparing" I know the structure works like the typical one "subject+predicate+object (you spent time)", but it gives me a different feeling or tone when reading it. In other words, there is no need to be afraid of financial status or possibility to lose the income and left without money. For example, researches in Finland in 2018 has shown that participants who received unconditional payments were more likely to engage in entrepreneurial activities and hobbies compared to those who does not have such support. In addition to that, people potentially monetize their interests due to lack of financial stress. Thus, a basic income ensures financial stability during uncertain times, allowing individuals to concentrate on looking for a new job without the added stress of financial insecurity.
