Today, I'm going to eat sushi with my friends. I’m really excited because I love sushi. I used to like salmon the most, but recently, I’ve fallen in love with engawa. It’s rich and fatty, which makes it super delicious. Engawa is amazing! However, my all-time favorite food is definitely ramen. I think tonkotsu ramen is the best food in the world and probably my favorite for life. Have a nice day!

I picked up an easy-to-read book at the bookstore, but alas, I got bogged down by the very first sentence. "The world is everything that is the case." So it's not obscure words but thoughtful minds that truly give writing its depth and breadth. Please share your thoughts on how to read this book. How do I benefit from reading it as a language learner?

What does "for our own good" mean here? "The temptation might be to brush off these achievements too lightly for our own good. Given what we may have gone through, these are milestones that deserve celebration."

This morning, I made and ate French toast. It turned out really delicious, and it was a nice way to start the day. Now I’m craving a fruit tart cake! My favorite cake is strawberry tart. I haven’t had one in a while, so maybe I’ll get one sometime this week as a little treat.

暑い夏にはうどんが食べたくなります。 最近はまっている具材は、かつおぶし、黒ごま、韓国のり、エゴマの葉、ニンニク、ゆで卵。 日本ではあまり見かけない組み合わせだけど、さっぱりしてて美味しい。 私は香川県出身なのですが、香川県は「うどん県」と呼ばれているくらいうどんが有名です。 子どもの頃は、毎週末家族でうどんを食べていました。 Hot summer makes me crave udon. Lately, I’ve been really into topping it with bonito flakes, black sesame seeds, Korean seaweed, perilla leaves, garlic, and boiled eggs. It’s a combination we don’t often see in Japan, but it’s refreshing and delicious. I lived in Kagawa Prefecture until I was 10 years old, which is so famous for udon that it’s often called “Udon Prefecture.” When I was a child, my family and I used to eat udon together every weekend.

Today, after school, I went to a café and worked on an assignment. It’s really hot in Japan these days, so I often find myself stopping by a café for a cold drink. It gets a bit cooler at night, so I really enjoy taking evening walks. I have to wake up early tomorrow, so I’ll go to bed soon.

I’m still feeling the excitement from yesterday’s concert. Today, I listened to music on my way to school and remembered the scenes from the concert. The fun memories came back to me. Thanks to that, I was able to get through my Monday classes. I have a presentation tomorrow, so I’ll do my best to prepare for it.

Today is "tanabata" in Japan. It is special and traditional day. According folktale, a man and woman could meet once a year. The day that they could meet is today! People write a wish in paper, and hanging it on bamboo leaves. For example, "I wish I could meet a famous person."

Good morning! I feel so much better now that my headache from yesterday! I had heat stroke, so my mom made me carry salt. I was surprised to learn yesterday that the country where the temperature is high but it is not use air conditioners . Even Japanese make heat stroke, so I think more people get heat stroke in those countries than in Japan.
